The idea that a cat and dog can’t be friends is purely a myth. Of course, you’ll see examples of dogs chasing after cats and vice versa, but that’s because the two have not been properly acquainted.
Take a look at this video of Watson (cat) and Solomon (dog) becoming great friends, and you’ll see that cats and dogs can make great friends.
Sure it took some warming up on Watson’s part, but that’s how it always goes when someone new is introduced to the family. Jealousy and suspicion always arise at first, but with time, friendship is all that remains.
You can tell that the pet dad of these two is absolutely adoring of both his buddies. It seems Solomon needs a very special diet that dad is quite strict about. Either way, dad must have lots of fun with his two little fur-buddies. They are gorgeous.
