Koufax, the Golden Retriever, was nine-weeks-old when this was filmed. He is not a service dog, but a family dog, but he does show why Golden Retrievers are so well fitted to the job.
This adorable pup carries his own leash when going out for a walk with his dad. He isn’t going anywhere except where dad is going, so he can do the job himself – thank-you-very-much.
Koufax sticks right to the side of his dad’s wheelchair; rather, he sticks to the inside to be more precise. This funny little guy walks with dad, but UNDER his wheelchair. Dad isn’t worried about knocking him, because this pup has it all under control.
The little pup does take a little detour, as his big sister films, but he is soon back on track and, still carrying his own leash, zipping under the wheelchair as dad zooms along. Koufax is just too cute for words, in my opinion.
