Hope For Paws. No introduction needed, right? Hope For Paws received an urgent call about a dog. This poor German Shepherd was abandoned, and he ended up getting trapped in the LA River. He had been stuck there for weeks.
The people from the community fed him while they searched for some sort of help. This rescue was carried out by Eldad from Hope For Paws and Annie Hart from Bill Foundation.
There was no access in or out of the river for miles, and the rescuers were not prepared properly for such a situation. But thankfully, the neighbors decided to help them, so they gathered the required equipment.
With help from volunteers from the community, they were able to secure Bigie and bring him to safety. Watch this heart touching rescue in the video below. I honestly don’t want to think what LA would be like without these amazing people at Hope For Paws.
