Some adverts have the power to really stick with us in our memory after we see them, and this is one of them. It is full of imagination, ingenuity, and brilliance, and it has a rather amusing ending. This advertisement marks the debut spot in Leo Burnett Melbourne’s campaign for the Honda CR-V Series II and it is really well done.

It features a dad who is willing to go miles for his little daughter and her wishes, and the vehicle is what helps and supports him in that journey. Executive creative director Jason Williams told Adweek: ‘The idea came from the insight that having children is its own adventure, and sometimes you have to go on a bit of a wild goose chase to appease the imagination of a young child.’ We couldn’t agree more.

In the beginning of the advertisement, the young girl brings her play horse to her father to show him that the head broke off. The play horse just happens to be pink. She then shows him a picture of something on her tablet that we can’t really see. Suddenly the entire family is in the Honda CR-V going to a ranch where all of the horses are different colours, like green, blue, red, and of course, there is a pink one. Guess which one the young girl chooses?

There is a little twist at the end that makes this clip really amusing, so be sure to watch the entire thing.
