Youtuber SerpaDesign has accepted the ultimate challenge: Create an aquarium with a closed terrarium inside. The result is beautiful and mindbending at the same time.
If you are considering trying this project, make sure to use a jar that has a lid that won’t react with the water. This means avoiding materials such as metal. The jar should have a good seal on its own, or you can add some rubber to the top to make it waterproof.
Before planting either the terrarium or the aquarium it is housed in, you need to plan out how the terrarium will be placed within the aquarium. SerpaDesign created a riser for his jar using a piece of glass that he affixed to the aquarium using silicone.
