For those of us who have lived in the countryside, seeing weird looking animals is an everyday thing. Living in the countryside or on the farm is a unique experience. You learn to appreciate the simple things in life. When I was a little kid, I always wanted to live in the big city. This is probably the biggest dream of mostly all boys who live in the country that I know. You grow up pretty much thinking your life is boring.
When you grow up and move to the big city, you start missing all those long sunny days in the country. Nothing is more relaxing than a quiet day in the outdoors. I got to learn about a lot of animals at a very young age and so did my friends. I had all sorts of pets, from mantises to centipedes and tarantulas. I had cats and dogs, too. I believe growing up around animals helps your judgment in many ways.
One of my dreams is to one day live on a ranch. Far from the big city lights, the traffic, and the noise. Just like an Indiana woman who decided to make her dream come true. She lives on a farm with a lot of animals. She says it helps her relax. The first few days, she discovered that farm animals make a lot more noises that we think. Most of these noises are means of communication for them.
The first few times, she would hear something and rush outside thinking it was some sort of wild animal. She would then find out it had been the pig or a lamb. After a couple of years, she had seen it all. One day, she hopes to completely go off the grid. In the meantime, she continues to learn the ups and downs of owning a farm.
One day, she hears a noise that she hadn’t heard before. She thinks she has heard similar ones but there’s something about this one that sparks her curiosity. She goes to the barn thinking it’s one of her animals, only to find out it is something entirely different.
In a corner of the barn are two unique kittens. What makes them unique is the fact that they have hairless paws and a unique pattern on their fur. Not knowing what they are, she decides to take them to the Animal Rescue Fund. They are analyzed by experts who cannot tell what they are either. They seem to be some sort of cat. They send them to the Exotic Feline Rescue Center. The experts there start looking after them and working on identifying them. You won’t believe what they find.
