Being an animal lover definitely comes with its fair share of perks. When you are able to love animals, you are able to experience a whole new level of love and caring. It’s the type of love that you are able to show only to those who are truly deserving and are able to give that love back to you unconditionally; that’s not always the case with people.
For many of us, when we think of pets, we think the typical standard pet, dog or cat, maybe a bird or rabbit, sometimes even a horse. Very rarely do we ever think of this particular type of animal, but that is what Cormac Williams does think of with his own beloved pet. The pet in question is a donkey.
Tulip is William’s 8-year-old donkey who was actually born on his farm in Kerry, Ireland. Tulip has always been full of sass and surprises, and she gave her owner the biggest surprise yet in 2013. Tulip was expected to have a baby, so when she gave birth to live twins, William was shocked.
It’s extremely rare for donkeys to have twins, but for both babies to live is almost unheard of. But live they did and both babies, named Snow and Flake, not only survived but thrived. The lovely trio still lives on William’s farm in Kerry, Ireland, and he says that they all are one big happy family. Don’t miss this great story in the video we posted below.
