Bello, the parrot, was rescued from a life of constant owner changeover. Now he’s a ham, hilariously singing opera to his mom and begging for head scratches. Bello loves going outside, and even takes road trips with his mom. He’s happier now than he ever was, thanks to his mom’s loving care.
When Bello came to his current mom, he had been through three different homes. It took him months to trust her, to even let her scratch his head. Slowly, through hours of work showing him unconditional love, his mom was able to show Bello that he was safe, and he began to trust her.
Now he’s a show-off, a spunky little parrot that loves to get head scratches and be silly. He sings opera for two hours a day, begs for head scratches, and travels everywhere with his mom because Bello loves the outdoors. She has even taken him kayaking. His mom has had Bello for eight years, and parrots live up to 80, so she had decades of fun antics to look forward to.
