Reuben the Bulldog was honored during the 2019 Jacksonville, NC Veteran’s Day Parade. He got to ride on a float and got the chance to meet many people as a guest of honor.
Reuben had his first public appearance at the Jacksonville, NC Veteran’s Day Parade in 2019, where he was invited to celebrate the Marine Bulldog statue the city was installing
One fan imagined how Reuben was feeling during the event: “Wow, all these people came out just to watch MY parade – thanking me and stuff? I must be a bigger star than I knew. Okay, dad, this seems like a good time to negotiate the contract. Lots more butter from now on, okay?”
