He Slowly Went Up To These Horses. But When This Cowboy Extended His Arms?..

I love horses. What is there not to love right? They are magnificent and truly incredible. One of the most gorgeous breeds of horse is definitely the wild Mustangs. The habitats of the beautiful animals have slowly been depleting over the years due to development and farming. Their numbers are also dwindling because they are now at a high risk of being slaughtered and captured for monetary benefit by selfish people who do not care about the horses or the ecosystem that they are a part of.

Thankfully, there are some organizations that have been working hard to change that. Saving American Mustangs is an organization that provides a sanctuary for many wild horses. Mustang Monument Wild Horse Eco-Resort & Sanctuary gives the luxury of a resort with the possibility of seeing these stunning creatures in an up close way without encroaching on their home. It is home to over 600 mustangs.

Cowboy Clay Nannini works at the Mustang Monument and he thinks it’s a legacy worth protecting. In this clip, he gets his kids involved and they help him do some work at the sanctuary. He shows them how to put a bit and bridle on their own horses properly and then he has a safe place for them to sit and watch while he works with some horses to get them used to human interaction.

Watch the GoPro footage of Clay interacting with the wild horses in the video above and let us know your thoughts in the comments!
