In a true act of love, Serenity the stray dog was found on the side of the road in Ontario, Canada, cuddling around a group of 5 orphaned kittens. Despite being a completely different species, this brave pupper made sure to keep the fur babies as warm as she could despite the snowy weather.
All the animals were rescued from the side of the road by an observant motorist and brought to the Chatham-Kent Pet and Animal Rescue. There the kittens were put with a foster home until they were old enough to be adopted, but Serenity is a different story.
Hundreds of people are contacting the shelter to adopt her from as far away as Germany, Australian, and Ireland. It will take them a long while to sort through the applications and find the right mom or dad for Serenity.
No doubt she will find a loving forever family that appreciates her big, brave heart. Perhaps one day Serenity will get the chance to reunite with the kittens who she saved with the bravest cuddle in the world.
