Joshua served in the U.S. Air Force in Afghanistan. When he returned home from the theatre of war, like so many others, he was never the same again. The poor young man constantly suffered from terrible nightmares and other post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) related symptoms.
Two beautiful dogs helped Joshua immeasurably after he came home. They were always there for him, when he came home and when he woke up. They were quite the trio.
Life was still a struggle for Joshua, though. He needed to start afresh, and a move to California was what was on the cards. Unfortunately, he wouldn’t be able to take his beloved companions with him.
Almost two months later, with help from Pitbulls and Parolees, Joshua was reunited with his best buddies in a park in California. Tia and Mariah from P&P had driven two days across the country to reunite these three. It was a trip they have said they would happily do many times again if they got the same result – a whole lot of happiness.
