Building An Indoor Pond Aquarium Build Is Soothing To Watch

He built a lovely little pond habitat for his betta. This man shows every step he took along the way in a captivating time-lapse so we too can create our own.

He starts from scratch, building the aquarium himself out of glass panels and binding them together using aquarium-safe silicone. He uses this same silicone, portioned out in a handy caulking gun, to glue the foundation pieces of his build, the rocks and branches, down so they keep their positions.

Using a splitter on his water pump, he’s able to run a line down one of the branches to keep the moss moist. This he affixes to the branch with more silicone. The result is a small line of water that drips down the branch and into the water below as if fed by a tributary somewhere nearby.
