There is a reason newborns are referred to as bundles of joy by their families. This is because they bring a lot of happiness with them. Sometimes these cute little babies have such angelic faces that you just can’t stop yourself from being obsessed with them.
A similar thing happened at the Little Buckets Farm Sanctuary, owned by Susan Klingenberg. When a donkey at the farm, named Olive, gave birth to a beautiful foal, the dog Colton watched the birth from a corner and was bedazzled by what she saw.
Colton welcomed the foal, Willow, with a sweet kiss. However, Olive was protective of the baby. Still, it was not long before she understood that Colton would never harm her baby.
Soon Olive allowed Willow to wander around and was comfortable when Colton was around. Willow soon found a company in Colton as she grew older. She was very curious about the dog and often hung around with him.
Willow treated Colton as her own sibling. She treated Colton as her elder sister and even liked how the dog would wag her tail. Colton never left the innocent baby donkey alone. The two would always stick around at the farm and had become inseparable.
According to Susan, Colton loved to welcome everyone at the farm. She also had a knack for understanding what others needed and was very helpful. Colton’s feeling of care and love was not just for Willow but also towards other animals at the farm.
Colton loves to go for walks with the adorable foal and enjoys playing with her. They share an incredible bond that is very special to them. Without talking, these animals can express their true feelings of love and care for each other.
