During natural disasters, it’s often the pets that get left behind. But this was not the case for journalist Tim Aylen and his daughter Julia. They refused to leave their dogs behind as they fled the ravages of Hurricane Dorian.
They waded through chest-deep water as the storm approached The Bahamas, clutching their soaked animals to their bodies. Luckily they were able to make it to safety and shared the footage to show the devastating effects the storm had on their homeland.
