Foster Kitten Happy to Be Reunited With His Sister

Manx kittens Liam and Amber were born with a serious condition that sometimes affects their breed, and they became separated in the process of receiving various forms of help, including medical attention and foster placement. When Liam’s foster mom received word that his sister needed foster care, she did not hesitate to accept.

Unfortunately, for the sake of their recovery, the siblings needed to be separated for several weeks as they were being treated for their most urgent medical needs. Liam went home to the foster home first, where he met a German Shepherd dog whose tail became his favorite plaything. The lonely kitten needed a lot of attention and frequent snuggles.

By the time Amber finally rejoined her brother in their foster home, the separation from him had interfered with her recognition of her sibling. She was a little bit uneasy about the energetic and playful kitten who was following her around, but Liam persisted and finally won her over.

The day after their reunion, the siblings were playing and cuddling together as if there had been no separation at all. Their personalities are very different, but the two Manx kittens are now confident owners of their space and they steal the hearts of everyone they meet, including Addie, the resident German Shepherd. They may still have some medical challenges, but the Manx pair are now ready and looking for their final forever home, where they will surely bring the entertainment and the cuddles.
