There are incredible moments in nature that will have you completely in awe. Horses are majestic strong creatures that have a strong social bond with their herd. I was amazed in this video to see this scene play out and even fearful for both the horses involved.
On the banks of Salt River, in Arizona’s Tonto National Forest, Champ and his family of wild stallions were grazing. A second group of wild stallions appeared on the far bank who were interested in meeting Champ’s family. Some of the new horses decided to cross the river and say hello.
But disaster struck and one of the young fillies broke away from the group and was swept downstream. As quick as lightning Champ jumped in the water and assisted this young filly with his strong powerful swimming back to safety.
