Conservation officer Eric Fluette travels to ‘Rise and Shine Retrievers’ in hopes of adopting a Labrador retriever puppy as his first-ever K-9 partner.
He uses a few tests to decide which puppy would be best. One test involves flipping the puppy on its back and holding it still to see if it resists. Any puppy that fights being held will not be good at following directions, and thus wouldn’t be a good choice. He selects a puppy, and names her Moxie.
