This video starts with a young girl gently carrying what looks like a newborn puppy, wrapped in a blanket. She carries the pup over to a beautiful cat, who appears to be a new mother, with a few tiny kittens nuzzling with her in a cardboard box.
When mama cat sees the puppy for the first time, her motherly instinct kicks right in. The puppy doesn’t even have its eyes open yet and can barely get around, he is very young.
When this woman places the puppy in the box with the cat and her kittens, something amazing happens. Instead of trying to get the puppy away from her litter mama cat welcomes the dog into her family. She starts to lick the puppy and want to clean it off because it appears to have been just born.
The cat shows her love to the dog the minute that she lays eyes on him. No matter if you are a cat person or a dog person, you will find this little clip very sweet. While I hope nothing happened to the puppy’s mother, it is comforting to know that if he was on his own, this mama cat won’t let him feel neglected.
