Sonya is a bear that has been at the Orphaned Wildlife Center ion Otisville, NY since she was a cub. She can not be released back into the wild and is therefore provided lifetime sanctuary care.
She recently reunited with Jonathan, who raised her from the time she was a baby. Even after years apart, the affection between the two is evident. No matter how hard he tries to pull her back to her feet, Sonya just wants to have her belly rubbed.
