Police dogs are exceptionally well-trained and well-behaved animals; they are brave, they are clever, and they can be deadly. But, like every officer, life isn’t always about being on duty or saving the world for these K9 wonders.
Greenburgh Police Department’s K-9 unit is the star of this funny video. The officer and his K9 appear to be in a parking lot, and the officer is interacting with a group who is filming him. Perhaps one of the group asked about the K9 because the attention is all on him.
The officer looks at the K9 and then points to the car and the dog’s reaction is instant. Within a matter of seconds, the dog goes running over to the car, grabs the rear passenger door handle with its teeth, jumps in the car, and makes himself comfortable.
Inside the door is a large, rubber hoop that the dog uses to grab on to with his teeth to close the door behind him. Although this video has been circulating the internet for a number of years, it is making waves again because of just how cool and unique this dog is.
