Otter siblings Kotaro and Hana enjoy their meal when they suddenly hear something coming toward them. They leave their bowls and go to explore the strange noise.
Kotaro and Hana see a giant cardboard box coming right at them, and they scatter into the living room. Once the container stops, they realize it isn’t a threat, and they look at it with curiosity.
Inside the container, there is a gift for them, and their dad opens it while the otters go back to eating their meal. Once the box is opened, a tiny sofa is revealed to be inside.
It is a couch for kids, and it is the perfect size for Hana and Kotaro. Hana sits on her dad’s lap, and they’re on the small couch together. Her dad wipes her face because she is always messy during mealtime.
Hana loves it when she has her face wiped. The sofa is placed in a corner that is meant for the otters. They will probably sleep underneath it rather than on it.
The following day they find the same box in the living room, but it has three holes on the side. Kotaro notices the cardboard moving, and he stands on his legs to see what’s going on.
Their dad is inside, and he surprises Kotaro, who goes to hide under the big sofa. Once he realizes it’s just his dad, he lays down on his lap and asks for more jerky.
