There’s a new foal in town, with all equine enthusiasts turning their heads. His name is Vinny, and he’s got something special about him. If you look closely, you’ll see what makes him so distinctive. His mane has a white heart shape surrounded by jet-black spots.
It’s no surprise that this made Wendy Bulmer, the proprietor of the Flying Hall Riding School in North Yorkshire from which Vinny was born, take notice. After all, Wendy bought his mare at auction without knowing she was pregnant!
Vinny’s unique markings give him an illusion of two horses fused into one, with patches on his mane creating an image of a horse across his body and giving him an almost magical presence. There’s nothing quite like it in the horse world!
Vinny loves spending time with Wendy and his mother. They’re both his guardians, and have gotten used to having another family member around. And there are plenty more curious onlookers, too, since Vinny’s arrival; Wendy’s children often play with him while they admire Da Vinci’s divine artwork.
