Animals can be so very loving to humans and have many ways of expressing their love and appreciation. Our dogs will happily lick us and snuggle; our cats will rub against us and purr into our necks; even our fish will come zooming towards us as we go to feed them. Each species has its own way of showing expression.
Considering such expressions of affection, I had to question what a horse would do to show their love. I suppose they give you nuzzles and such when you bring them treats or are just showing them affection. I can honestly say I never thought a horse would want to kiss someone on the cheek, though.
This very short but funny video has a young man in a stable, with just the camera zoomed in on their faces. A few seconds in the man gives the horse a kiss on the cheek. As he pulls back, the horse turns and returns the gesture.
This is pure gold. I had never thought of a horse giving someone a kiss – maybe a bite on the butt if you forgot to give them an apple, but never a kiss. This was laugh-out-loud funny and worth watching more than once. Don’t miss this sweet video below.
