There is a tiny island in Hawaii that has an extraordinary population – of cats. The Lanai Cat Sanctuary provides a safe haven for all of Lanai’s homeless cats. By rescuing the cats, the sanctuary is also helping to protect the native bird population.
Also known as the Fur Seasons, the Lanai Cat Sanctuary is a home for rescued cats, and all are available for adoption. This sanctuary, besides having a stunning setting (Hawaii, folks), also has quite the array of locations for the residents to chill out in. For instance, there is the Catfurteria where many hang out preferring the delivery option of a meal, rather than hunt-it-yourself. These beautifully natured cats draw in thousands of visitors a year. I just want to know how those folks manage to leave the island; I would definitely want to stay with all these guys.
