He plans an aquascape all designed around an adorable set of Ranchu goldfish. Then he wraps some rocks with moss, and the result is stunning.
In order to create a laminar flow along the top of the tank, he’s added a spray bar on the top all along one side. This creates a circular motion to the water in the tank that pushes any detritus toward the water filter at the back of the tank.
Before the fish go in, the aquascape has to be in place. He starts with a bevy of moss-wrapped stones, covering the rocks with java moss, weeping moss, Christmas moss, and spikey moss. Using cotton thread and some super glue, he wraps the rocks in the moss and ties it down with the thread.
