Having a pet can be an immense source of joy. Watching them interact with the world is an endlessly fascinating experiment in trying to figure out how the animal mind works. Why does the cat stare at the heater for hours at a time? Why does the dog love carrying around logs, but won’t fetch a stick to save his life? They all have their own personalities.

Getting to know your pet is just like getting to know a new friend. Their likes and dislikes, their strange habits, even the way they show their affections can vary wildly from one to another. When Ashley brought home her two new parakeets, brothers Fabio and Gabriel, she did have some idea of what she was getting into.

Ashley is the founder of Famjam, a YouTube channel that showcases not only Gabriel and Fabio but her three other birds Abandon, Mojo, and Jojo as well. She’s a huge bird lover, obviously, and knows quite a bit about parakeets in general. But she certainly wasn’t expecting the over the top sweetness these two share with one another.

The two brothers already knew how to refer to one another by name by the time they got to Ashley’s. They love being let out of their cages and can spend hours just chasing one another around the room, playing games, and making mischief.

Every day they catch up with one another, asking ‘What ya doing?’ on a regular basis. Recently, their bond got even cuter when they learned how to give one another kisses. They move closer to one another, lean their breaks in for a peck, and squeak out ‘Mwah!’ How adorable. Watch these sweet guys interact in the video below.
