Getting married is an event no one ever forgets. Lots of planning and arrangements generally go into the big day. Everything from the church to the dress to the food has to be figured out ahead of time in order for things to go off smoothly. It can be incredibly stressful, but also an amazing opportunity to create a day that shows everyone how much you and your partner are in love. Sometimes, a great friend or family member will go the extra mile, and bring something to the day that you never expected. That’s what happened to Lisa on her big day, all thanks to dear old dad.
Lisa had everything planned for her father-daughter dance. She and her dad had chosen Tim McGraw’s ‘My Little Girl’ as their song, a perfect accompaniment to this touching tradition. Only, Dad had something up his sleeve Lisa could never have expected. The scene was set for an amazing wedding party. They chose a gorgeous venue in a ballroom, and everything had been decorated to fit the momentous occasion. Chandeliers hung from the ceiling, the band was set up on a small stage up front, surrounded by pink and purple lights, and everyone was having a great time.
When it came time for the father-daughter dance, Lisa and her dad went to the dance floor as her friends and family looked on. The band started playing the opening notes to ‘My Little Girl’ , as father and daughter clasped hands and began to dance. Then, a man in a sharp suit, cowboy hats, and boots strides onstage. He takes his place behind the microphone and peers at Lisa. It takes her a minute to notice this change, but when he starts singing, the entire audience goes crazy. It’s none other than Tim McGraw himself!
