In order to keep your shrimp happy you need a solid set of water parameters. Keep your pH levels as close to 7 as possible, with the range being anywhere from 6.5 to 7.5. Your GH should be between 4 and 8 and your KH should be between 2 and 15.
The key to having happy shrimp in your tank is to be consistent. As longs as your main parameters stay the same, you should have an easy time keeping your shrimp happy while promoting breeding.
