Hope For Paws is a non-profit animal rescue organization that works hard for the rescue of animals that are suffering on the streets and in shelters. They have successfully completed an astounding number of wonderful rescues and are by far one of Daily Pet Buzz’s favorite rescue groups. These people are just downright outstanding.
In the rescue we are bringing you today, the HFP team received a call about a sick and homeless dog that was in need of rescue. Fortunately, a neighbor had been feeding the dog while looking for help. The rescuers noticed right away that she was blind in one eye. She was in a very bad condition. A lot of her fur was missing due to flea infestation.
On the way to the vet, they named her Phannie (I always love the names they choose). There were no serious injuries to deal with, thankfully. Shortly after she was rescued, Phannie underwent surgery that restored her vision.
Hope For Paws has some brilliant rescues and these folks work diligently and have such a love for what they do. This rescue is just another example of how awesome this group is. Little Phannie has full sight, and no doubt found a kind and loving fur-ever home. Check out her special rescue story in the video below.
