This video tells the remarkable story of a tiny Pitbull puppy named Norland. Norland was abandoned as a pup and left to die. With Norland’s mother nowhere to be found, the people at the Cleveland Animal Protective League needed to find an adoptive mother for him as soon as possible.
Orlene, a cat that had just given birth a couple of days prior to Norland’s arrival, would prove to be the mother they were looking for. Without any hesitation, Orlene took Norland in as one of her own and started nursing him.
Orlene becomes the perfect surrogate mother for Norland. When Norland would get supplemental feeding bottles from carers, Orlene was right there, making sure her adopted pup was okay. She wouldn’t leave the side of whoever was feeding little Norland.
Norland thrived with his new mother and grew up along his feline siblings. Happily, all eventually get adopted to loving fur-ever homes. You can’t beat this kind of story, from almost certain demise to becoming a member of a very diverse family to loving fur-ever home.
