Training your puppy is very important and very hard work. It lays the groundwork for future learning, obedience, and most importantly, housebreaking. It’s also a great way to help them get rid of all that excess energy.
Meet Maddie, the adorable Dachshund puppy. In this video, you can see this precious 10-week old puppy learning the basics of rewarding behavior, but it’s much more than that. Her dad says, “I’m teaching her how to let me know when she wants to go outside. This is just the first step. We have a way to go. She thinks it’s all about food!”
Dachshunds are intelligent, clever, and sometimes, stubborn. But Maddie is a very fast learner as this video clearly shows.
