We teach our sweet loving pets to do all sorts of things, not just for us, but for fun things too. And then there are times when we teach our fur babies something important – like animals that are drug sniffers, ones that can even sense a high or low blood sugar for someone, potentially being able to save their lives.
Basically, our pets aren’t just part of the family; they often have jobs around the house, too. Our video today shows a very clever dog who is being taught something specific. While unsure where this is filmed, it would appear to be on a farm in a very, very cold climate.
Why do I presume a farm? Well, this video shows us two chickens that are stuck in a snowbank. Chickens aren’t the brightest of creatures, and when the snow starts falling, they don’t necessarily know to get shelter. These chickens may have snuck out of the coop, or maybe they are free-range.
Either way, these chickens are stuck. It looks like the man in the video had started to try and get them free, then cleverly realized his dog could dig them out. Not only could he dig them out, but he also needed to learn how to do this, in case it happened again.
This pooch works quickly and pretty efficiently at getting his fowl friends free. There won’t be any problems for this guy should these silly chickens get stuck in another snowstorm. What a clever boy.
