The first step is to assemble all your materials, plants, and hardscape. This build uses substrate mix underneath a thick layer of aquasoil. Then place your hardscape (wood or small stones) in and set up how you want them to look.
When it comes to plants, start by super gluing your moss to your hardscape. The glue becomes solid once it dries, so it is basically hard plastic and so is completely safe for fish.
