Scuba diver Hiroyuki Arakawa has been visiting his particular fish friend in Japan for over 25 years. Each time he visits, the fish comes to say hello.
Mr. Arakawa has been scuba divings for 61 years, but 25 years ago, it was a visit to the Namiza Marine Park in the Chiba region of Japan that he met a unique friend.
A bump bream approached him, and they became friends. Now, each time Mr. Arakawa visits the park, this same fish comes to see him. The length of the fish’s memory is very unusual and quite extraordinary.
