When it comes to animals, we simply can’t get enough of them. We just love to hear animal stories and try and soak in all the information we can regarding any and all animals. We also love to watch animal videos online; most of us see this as a guilty pleasure. Well, this animal video is a tad bit different but has a very happy ending.
A breeder of Shetland ponies decided that they no longer to be involved in that industry and up and left their herd of thirty ponies. That’s right; they literally abandoned thirty animals who were dependent on them for their survival. Oh, and twenty-eight of those thirty ponies were mares, all of whom were pregnant.
Luckily for these gorgeous ponies, Hillside Shire Horse Sanctuary stepped up to help these animals out. They went and loaded all thirty ponies onto a trailer and brought them to a location to be checked out by a vet, dewormed, groomed, and to have a tail trim.
Once they were all given the all-clear, they were brought to their forever home at the sanctuary. When you get to see all thirty of these beautiful ponies walk off their trailer and into their new pasture, you will smile at their good fortune. These guys may have had a rough life before, but it looks like all sunny pastures from here on out!
