Dogs are said to be man’s best friend. They are faithful and loyal, and they love us with all of their beings. While most dogs have a loving family that look after them and provide them with all the required love and support, many others don’t have anyone to rely on.
But Hope For Paws, a non-profit rescue organization in Los Angeles, is working very hard to change that. The dog in this video was going through this same problem. She was abandoned and found cowering in isolation and getting scared with almost everything. Her condition was miserable, and she looked near dead with malnourishment. She is small, but she proves she is mighty.
The world must be a terribly scary place when you’re this small and have no one to rely on. It took 20 minutes for Eldad to get her calm enough to let him pet her. He finally got the lucky leash on her after she tried several times to bite him. I must say he has very quick reflexes.
Eldad soon works his magic on this terrified dog, and she is putty in his hands. Or should I say his lap? He pulls her onto his lap and hugs her, and she is calm. In the car, she sits in his lap leaning on his chest with her eyes closed, like it’s the first time in a very long time she could relax. Eldad is a magician.
After a bath and medical treatment, we fast forward to three weeks later, where she is wearing a cute outfit and playing with her new friends at her foster home. She is now named Holly, and her transformation is simply incredible. Watch this beautiful story below.
