The contemporary christian band Tenth Avenue North hails from West Palm Beach, in Florida, and their inspirational music has recently been taking the internet by storm, though the band has been around for nearly twenty years. It’s great to see these guys finally getting the kind of recognition they deserve, including three Dove Awards, and seven total nominations. These five men approach God and their music with their hearts and hands wide open, and it shines through with every new single and album they release.
This latest release from the band is the perfect antidote to the kind of creeping doubt that can sneak into our hearts in the middle of the night, and leave us feeling shaky. ‘so, whatever happens I will not be afraid,’ they sing, ’cause You are closer than this breath that I take. You calm the storm – ‘ There are no waves bigger than God, no sorrow stronger than God, and no darkness that God’s light cannot penetrate, if we only hang on to our faith in Him.
