A problem that worries countless first time parents during their pregnancy and birth is introducing the new member of the family to the other previous members. And it doesn’t just apply to older siblings, either. Animal parents must know that introducing babies to older fur babies can be a challenge sometimes, so it’s normal and recommended to take a few precautions. That is what this couple did before they introduced their new baby to the family pet. It must have worked because the two became fast friends.
The parents of the adorable couple in the video above obviously had nothing to worry about, however, as what they found when they watched their two babies (one human and one doggy) together was heartwarming and peaceful. Babies have a way of getting along with dogs very quickly, and this video is definitely one adorable example of that.
The baby and the huge dog are cuddling and sleeping soundly, and the whole scene is just too cute for words. Your heart is going to melt when you watch it yourself! Clearly, her mom is never going to have to worry about leaving the baby alone with the dog, at least for short whiles (and naps). The dog seems to have taken on the role of guardian and babysitter for the new addition to the family.
