Friendly Tiger Cub Rejected by Mother Finds Friend in Precious Puppy

There are myriads of reasons why wild animals shouldn’t be kept in captivity. Did you know that animals lose their motherly instincts overtime when they’re not in a natural habitat? One rejected cub finds family in a friendly canine.

Hunter is a Bengal tiger cub that was born on the Farm Inn Wildlife Sanctuary in Pretoria, South Africa. Everyone working there was nervous for the cub, as he had a hard time finding another animal to love him after his mother abandoned him.

Once Hunter met a little German Pointer puppy named Chelsea, he no longer felt lonely. The two have since become incredibly close and rarely leave each other’s side. Who would’ve thought that a baby tiger and a small pup would become best friends?

Because Hunter is a wild animal, all of his time spent with Chelsea is supervised. Once the tiger reaches six months old, the two will have to separate for the dog’s safety. It’s still amazing to watch these two unlikely friends have so much fun together.
