Some things in life can be quite intimidating, particularly when they are new, or seem ‘out of reach.’ As a person who is vertically challenged (okay, I am short), I often get a little overwhelmed when I am at the top of a skyscraper or even a crowd of taller people (which is almost always). So, it doesn’t seem silly to think that animals can also be a little intimidated at times.
Consider being a puppy or a dog, even if you are as big as the fella in this video, a big ole flight of stairs could be quite intimidating whether looking up or down. They are a lot closer to the ground than we are, so the stairs would actually look enormous to them.
The delightful Labrador pup in this video is standing at the top of the landing and is definitely not keen on the trip down the stairs. This sweet pup looks at those stairs like he has lost the battle with gravity on more than one occasion.
Though this sweet pooch may be a bit titchy over the thought of going down the stairs, he is not giving up and has devised a much better way of getting down, with less chance of falling — slide.
That’s right; the stairs are perfect for doing a little surf down for this pup. Wait until you see how he overcomes his fear and makes a fun sport of going down the stairs. I am not too sure what he is going to do when it comes to going UP, but for now, going down is a lot less scary and a lot more fun.
