Winston’s Wildlife Safari recently acquired a Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy, “Dayo,” as a companion animal for its cheetah cub, “Pancake.” The two animals will be ambassador animals together, which includes visiting schools, events, and businesses to raise awareness about cheetah conservation.
Dayo and Pancake were actually born on the same day, and various circumstances in life put these two dynamos together, and we are all better off for it. These two are just adorable together. Dayo loves Pancake and is quite protective of his buddy.
While Dayo is already in a protective mode, it does take Pancake a little time to get used to Dayo – who tends to be a little too rough for Pancake’s liking sometimes. But they are working through their differences and learning to communicate brilliantly, and already snuggle up regularly for bedtime.
Don’t miss these two darlings in the video below. The Wildlife Safari has partnered these two unusual playmates, and it seems it was an excellent choice. These two are going to be fantastic ambassadors, don’t you think?
