When Sgt. Chris Duke was serving in Afghanistan, a suicide bomber tried to attack his base in the middle of the night. But fortunately he and his fellow guardsmen woke up listening Rufus, Target and Sasha’s bark. These three dogs were adopted by the soldiers.
These three dogs were trying hard to block the suicide bomber from entering the camp by biting his leg. Surprised by the dogs act he was forced to detonate the bomb before entering the base. Thanks to the unbelievable efforts of the dogs, all the 50 soldiers survived that night. Unfortunately Sasha, the youngest pup died from sustained injuries.
Duke’s deployment ended after a year and he headed home to Georgia. He then started working to get Rufus and Target off the dangerous streets of Afghanistan and transporting them to the U.S. Watch this video and tell us what you think about it through your comments.
