A man in California had reported his African grey parrot, Nigel, missing, and after about four years, Nigel returned to him. However, he couldn’t understand why his parrot, who spoke in the Queen’s English, no longer speaks English but Spanish.
The parrot had wandered different places over the years and had picked Spanish phrases here and there. A microchip helped track and reunite him with his owner.
