One of the best things about the internet is the overwhelming amount of animal videos. Wildlife, as well as pets of all kinds, are available to watch on so many different platforms. Everyone has a ‘type’ of video they like the best, though.
Some people go for the exotic pet videos, some for the talented pets categories, and then some go for the rescues. And there are a lot of brilliant and amazing and uplifting rescues that go on around the world. Watching some of these stories can be so inspiring, and often they are just a great reminder that there is still a lot of good in this world.
This video features a rescue carried out by the World Animal Awareness Society (WA2S). The beautiful dog in the video is named Moma. She was born into a life of dog fighting due to a criminal breeder in Houston, Texas. Rescuers from Operation Houston tracked her down and brought her to safety, along with a couple of other dogs.
When WA2S found her, the poor dog was in a very miserable and bad state. She was born to die an agonizing death, but thankfully due to the intervention of these wonderful rescuers, she got a second chance at life. This girl is definitely a survivor, and I am sure those sad eyes are full of joy and love now. We can only hope other suffering animals get a chance as she got.
