Camera Ready Cat Steals The Show As Her Meteorologist Owner Tries To Report From Home

As wild as self-quarantine is proving to be, there are certainly a few key benefits to working from home. As one meteorologist found out while broadcasting the weather live from his living room, certain fuzzy felines have a special affinity towards the daily forecast.

Jeff Lyons is a meteorologist for WFIE News in Evansville, Indiana. As Lyons and the rest of the WFIE staff recently transitioned to working from home due to the coronavirus outbreak, a few adjustments had to be made.

By setting up an impromptu green screen in what was once considered his dining room, Lyons was all ready to deliver his first report from home, except for one little problem – his cat Betty wouldn’t get out of the shot.

When it was obvious that Betty was there to stay, Lyons and the rest of the WFIE News team decided to get creative. If she wanted to be on the news so badly, they’d just have to incorporate her into the daily weather forecast. And the resulting feline centered scenes are absolutely hilarious.
