When the runt of the litter was struggling to fit in with his brothers and sisters, this farm had no other option but to call in the specialists. And this 2-pound baby couldn’t be happier with his new foster family.
Affectionately named “Flick,” this tiny lamb was saved from rejection by Caitlin Cimini, an avid foster parent and proud founder of Rancho Relaxo, a nonprofit animal sanctuary and rescue. But Cimini had no idea what she was getting herself into when bringing home the newest member of the family.
It turns out this little angel had quite a fighter’s spirit. Within just a few weeks of residing at the Cimini household, Flick had gotten up to all sorts of mischief, ramming into people’s legs and slobbering all over the furniture.
When Flick was finally strong enough to return to the farm, he exchanged his fuzzy handknit sweaters for a genuine fleece coat and embraced the livestock lifestyle. But it seems a new address did nothing to hinder his silly tomfoolery.
