Have you ever sat and wondered how the animals around us actually speak with each other? Do their purrs and barks and whistles have actual meaning? And what do they discuss? Let’s face it; we know animals are very smart. And they are a lot smarter than most of us give them credit. (Only recently there was a report on rats learning to drive little tiny cars, and steer them to get the preferred treat).
Below, our video today witnesses a pair of beautiful cats, lounging around, and ‘chatting’ — for over an hour. We don’t have the full hour, of course, but I actually think I would watch a full hour of these two talking. I can’t imagine what they could be discussing. Where are those guys that ad-lib animal conversations when I need them?
Stina and Mossy, our feline stars, usually spend more time play fighting one another and don’t spend a lot of time communicating. But in this video captured by their daddy, you can listen to them speaking in their cat language and purring to each other.
Just listen to the conversation — I don’t understand a word of it, but I think my cat does. These two seem to be having quite a deep and meaningful discussion, don’t they? Or maybe they are just chattering about their parents and the new commercial they saw last night. No matter what they are discussing, it sure is a cute thing to watch and listen to — enjoy.
