Kiki, the kitten, is starting to grow more curious and wants to go out of her box even if she still isn’t big enough yet. The cardboard box is vast and has a soft blanket for Kiki.
Even if the box walls are shallow, Kiki is still smaller than them. That doesn’t stop her from trying to crawl toward the edge and attempting her escape.
A gentle hand reaches into the box and rubs Kiki’s chin. Then Kiki is picked up, and she softly meows. Her mother hears this and comes over to check on her adorable baby.
Kiki happily accepts her mom’s love as she is groomed by her. She fights to stay awake since her mom’s attention is so relaxing that she could fall asleep at any time.
There’s a whole world to explore, and Kiki must see it. Her mother finishes grooming her, and Kiki finds the back of the box. Unfortunately, it is up against the wall.
When Kiki finally peaks above her home’s boundary, she finds another impassable white barrier. At least she knows where she can’t go. Kiki then slinks back and finds her mother.
Coco, Kiki’s dad, is outside the box, keeping watch. He is also trying not to fall asleep. Meanwhile, Kiki is cuddled next to her smiling mama, and they are both slumbering.
