If you’re like me, you’d suspect that having a dog as a dance partner would be a bad decision. But in this quick video, you’ll meet a well-trained golden retriever dancing merengue better than most people.
When I stumbled upon this video of a golden retriever dancing merengue, I couldn’t believe it. The dog is wearing a dance costume in addition to knowing all the proper moves.
In a way, the dance is just a complicated version of following the leader. However, the golden retriever is able to perform the moves while on her hind legs. Amazing!
Compared to other dancing dogs I’ve seen, the merengue dancing pup can actually move quickly and stay in time with the fast Latin beat. Can’t you just picture this darling pooch dancing in the Bahamas? And tell me you aren’t singing a Beach Boys song in your head now, too.
